Circadian Rhythms

The circadian rhythm is a cycle that tells our bodies when to sleep, rise, eat. There is even a circadian rhythm of death. In a normal population, there is a peak of deaths in the morning hours.

The University of Pennsylvania has discovered how our memories are "geotagged" based on location using a GPS-like brain system. These "geotags" bring back a flood of memories associated with specific places from your past.

Ritualising the way I remember a space of great significance , there is a transformative catharsis and connection of traumatic misplaced memories that are given room to breathe. This work is designed around the conditions of a trauma.

The project moving forward will consist of live streaming participating communities who wish to remember significant spaces and reprogram their recall of the 'Geotags' positively.
